  • Learning contemporary terminology related to gender identity groups
  • Discussing common challenges to appreciating natural variations in human development
  • Identifying and discerning disinformation/misinformation
    from evidence-based research and clinical history
  • Recognizing and overcoming existing implicit bias & moving to inclusion

EARLY LEARNING

  • Differentiating observed behavior that may be based on sociocultural stereotypes
    from natural variations in child-expressed preferences and identity

  • Develop skills to identify and address classroom content that may contain ideological and/or politically motivated disinformation about history, biology, and civics
