Education Should Be Accessible
Reliable information about gender diversity should not depend on someone’s ability to pay for it.
Burleton Education keeps its core educational resources freely accessible so that families, educators, healthcare professionals, advocates, community members, and trans+, nonbinary, gender-diverse, and Two-Spirit people can use them when they need them.
Creating and maintaining that content still requires time, research, technology, production, and ongoing updates. Voluntary supporter revenue helps make that possible without placing essential educational material behind a paywall.

A Longstanding Commitment to Accessible Education
For more than two decades, Jenn Burleton’s work has centered on helping people understand gender diversity and putting reliable information into the hands of those who need it.
Long before Burleton Education, that commitment meant creating educational opportunities for families, educators, community members, advocates, and professionals—often with an emphasis on keeping training and resources affordable and accessible. At Lewis & Clark Graduate School, Jenn brought that experience into higher education, where she, envisioned, developed, and directed rigorous professional learning in gender diversity, including the Gender Diversity Certificate Program.
Burleton Education represents a return to the accessibility values that have shaped much of that work. The goal is not to reserve essential knowledge for those who can afford a course, credential, or subscription. It is to make strong, evidence-informed educational material available as broadly as possible, while using voluntary supporter revenue and paid professional services to help sustain its development.
Accessibility is not an added feature of this work. It is part of the reason the work exists.
